"Sunflowers"
I'm still testing the waters to see what I enjoy painting the most, and this was one of those experiments.
Painting this 40" x 40" canvas with all of the different colour gradients along the petals & background was an exciting challenge. This is my biggest piece to date with a small subject and not a vast landscape that my brush is used to.
I did miss painting a colourful sunset though....but I made up for that with my next piece which will be released at the end of this week.
